Becky Clay Christensen, Managing Principal has worked with and for the public sector since 1980 and has been an organizational and leadership consultant for over a decade, bringing dynamic skills in process design, team facilitation, conflict management, and action follow-through. She has trained nonprofit and local government leaders across Virginia in facilitation, customer service and project management techniques, and has managed public participation initiatives for road, dam, affordable housing, downtown development and trail projects. Becky has also facilitated dozens of organizational and leadership meetings and retreats, designed participation processes for diverse groups and outcomes, and successfully managed virtual leadership teams in the United States and Canada. Bob Adams, President of Housing and Development Advisors, has a 30- year history of successful community development work in Virginia. His firm specializes in strategic development planning, community economic restructuring, financial feasibility and structuring for development projects, community development business planning and management guidance. Bob 's experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for Community Housing Partners, Deputy Director of the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, and President of the National Housing Coalition.
Karl Bren, President of GreenVisions Consulting

has been a professional facilitator for almost twenty years.
He is a member of the International Association of Facilitators
and has had numerous clients from the private, governmental,
non-profit and religious sectors. He is a consultant on issues
around green, high performance building and sustainable design.
He is a L.E.E.D. Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building
Council. He
has a rich background in the non-profit sector, having founded
several non-profit housing, social service and environmental
organizations and currently serves on several non-profit boards.
Henry Cobb has been a facilitator since 1998, targeting small businesses and organizational development projects. Henry has developed a fine tuned expertise in working with nonprofit organizations, units of government, and private companies. He is experienced in program design, performance measurement, staff retreats, and participatory planning events, with specialty in Meyers Briggs Type Indicator, How to Train, Teambuilding and Interviewing Skills.
Michele DeWitt has been a facilitator since 1996, helping government, nonprofit, and private sector groups establish and achieve their goals. Her background in microenterprise, economic development, program management, facilitation, and government planning adds a unique dimension to The Clay Christensen Group. During her 14-year tenure in local, regional, and state government, she facilitated a variety of projects, at the neighborhood, local, regional, and state levels. Michele spent her government career managing public involvement efforts, and this focus carries over into her facilitation work with The Clay Christensen Group.
Susan
Thomas has been a facilitator since 1996, specializing in public process implementation and in managing cross-discipline teams to produce quality results. She has facilitated community-driven master planning projects and public policy development. With many years experience as a local government planning professional, she is highly skilled in land use issues, environmental advocacy and in building community consensus.
Peggy Tucker, CMP, has been keeping meetings on time, on budget and on target to meet the needs of clients throughout the United States and abroad for over 25 years. Her company, Monarch Meetings, successfully negotiates, plans, and executes conferences and conventions. She manages events with multiple layers and demands, maintains excellent relationships with hotels and customers, and takes the headache out of logistics. Peggy's professional experience brings The Clay Christensen Group solid behind-the-scenes knowledge of meetings that will increase their effectiveness and polish.
